Age limit: Age of the candidates should be between 18-28 years. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Test Centres:  Written Test will be conducted at Dhanbad & Asansol.

Mode of Selection: Eligible candidates will be required to attend the written test. Candidates should be short listed on the basis of performance in written test. Short Listed candidates will be required to appear in Interview. Date, Time and Place of Interview will be send to th applicants E-Mail/ SAIL website www.sail.co.in.

Application Fees: General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- through SBI Challan  for the posts of  Overman, Surveyor, Operator cum Technician and Rs. 150/- for the Post of Mining Sirdar. Candidates belonging to SC/ST have o pay Rs. 50/- for all the Posts mentioned above.
